About Nikki

Hi, I’m Nikki and I am a qualified Aromatherapist, dōTERRA Wellness Advocate, First Light® Flower Essences of NZ Practitioner, and Reiki Practitioner and have been working in my own Holistic Wellbeing practice for over 25 years.

I’m passionate about educating and empowering people to take care of their own health and wellbeing with the use of essential oils and self-care through the AromaTouch® Technique and Reik i.

The AromaTouch® Technique works with eight specific essential oils and blends to promote relaxation and stress relief, offer immune support, decrease pain and inflammation, and elevate mood.

The Essential oils are applied along energy lines and on reflexology points stimulating balance and harmony in the body. Clients find this non-invasive treatment incredibly nourishing, grounding and uplifting.

You will feel ‘put back together’.

It’s the ultimate self-care treatment - relaxing the body, balancing the emotions and uplifting the senses.

Such exciting news here at Jayayoga this month!

Our very own studio owner and founding director, Jennifer Allen, has just been named by The Yoga Lunchbox as one of the Top 10 Best Up and Coming Yoga Teachers in New Zealand and Australia!!

This is a true testament to her passion for Safe, Sustainable Yoga, and we are grateful to have her as a teacher and mentor. Jennifer teaches in the studio on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, and Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Phew! What a job!

We had 243 nominations for 93 teachers for New Zealand & Australia’s Best Up-and-Coming Yoga Teachers.  Based on the written testimonials from students, and some research of our own, we whittled the 93 down to 22 teachers. Those last 22 teachers we asked three questions:

  1. What does teaching yoga mean to you?

  2. How do you live your yoga?

  3. What’s your home yoga practice like?
