We at Jayayoga are SO EXCITED to welcome Coralie Morgan into our space! Coralie is an experienced Massage Therapist, Aromatherapy Specialist, and Reiki Master. Appointments available every Saturday beginning 22 July 2017.

About Coralie

Born in New Zealand, Coralie’s interest in massage originated from her desire to massage her own babies and once they were grown she extended this passion, studying at the Auckland College of Massage. A desire to incorporate an intuitive, spiritual aspect to her bodywork led Coralie to study reiki; a Japanese technique supporting energetic balance and to continue that training to Master Teacher level.

She provides a massage journey using a fusion of massage styles offering deep tissue, rhythmic compression, passive stretching, essential oils, and hot towels. You will be surrounded in a healing loving energy promoting peace and relaxation.

Coralie welcomes you to book in with her at Jayayoga to discuss your needs and design a massage specifically for you.

Rise and shine yogis

No better way to start your day than by channeling the powerful connection between body, breath and mind.

This hour-long practice will help to shake off your sleepiness as you awaken to the day ahead using the tools of asana (movement), pranayama (breath) and meditation. Salute the rising sun and open yourself up to the beauty of the ‘golden hour,’ where the stillness of the early morning brings peace and clarity for the day ahead.

We hope to see you on the mat

Such exciting news here at Jayayoga this month!

Our very own studio owner and founding director, Jennifer Allen, has just been named by The Yoga Lunchbox as one of the Top 10 Best Up and Coming Yoga Teachers in New Zealand and Australia!!

This is a true testament to her passion for Safe, Sustainable Yoga, and we are grateful to have her as a teacher and mentor. Jennifer teaches in the studio on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, and Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Phew! What a job!

We had 243 nominations for 93 teachers for New Zealand & Australia’s Best Up-and-Coming Yoga Teachers.  Based on the written testimonials from students, and some research of our own, we whittled the 93 down to 22 teachers. Those last 22 teachers we asked three questions:

  1. What does teaching yoga mean to you?

  2. How do you live your yoga?

  3. What’s your home yoga practice like?
